We’ll begin our journey by packing a picnic lunch to enjoy while exploring the natural beauty and energy of the rocks and Oak Creek. At this location, there are ample short walks which can be taken as a group or individual as you begin to process feelings, memories or work being stirred by Sedona’s magic. Around every turn there are opportunities to sit in silence on the smooth red rock or by the gurgling creek. You’re welcome to bring a lightweight camp chair, as well. We will stay at this location as long as we feel called, possibly only leaving for dinner when the growl of stomaches is louder than the call to stay.

After dipping our toes in Sedona’s beauty and whetting our curiosity of vortex energy, we’ll experience both from a higher perspective. An open air jeep ride to Secret Mountain Wilderness will provide spectacular views and additional vortex experiences in areas unavailable to us on foot. Our guide will explain why this area is considered a window to other worlds and its relevance in local UFO phenomena.

The following day promises opportunities for further contemplation and exploration as we roam new territory. Mid afternoon is a great time to switch gears and venture into Gallery Row, lined with world-class art galleries clustered in small plazas. Magnificent arched entryways lead to Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village’s cobblestone walkways, splashing fountains and giant sycamores, making this an unforgettable destination to explore specialty shops and exclusive art galleries.

This takes us to our last day in Sedona! It’s time to release any additional layers of emotion or resolve that have presented as we engaged with vortexes. Our walk will provide breathtaking views. Stops along the way allow for discussion of insights as we hold space for each other to step into our power with renewed clarity, resolution and confidence.

Being balanced and centered in love is a wonderful way to reach out to extraterrestrials. Our final night will involve a short trip just outside of the city where many documented anomalies have been witnessed and caught on film. While there are no guarantees we will see anything, this is arguably one of the most active places in the world to experience UFO and alien activity.

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

While ingredients for self-made breakfast and lunch will be available, dinners will be enjoyed at local restaurants selected by the group. Options are many and varied. Examples include casual, yet unique Chocola Tree, where each dish is organic, vegetarian and home made, often using ingredients from their on-site garden.

Elote offers more upscale, creative, original, Southwestern and Mexican Cuisine. Perhaps you’d like to begin with Jicama Orange Salad, leading into a braised lamb shank served with a robust ancho Chile sauce, and finish with some Mexican Chocolate Pie, complete with dark chocolate, candied almonds and fresh whipped cream. Yum!

If a steakhouse is more to your liking, Golden Goose Grill has you covered with masterfully prepared steaks and chops, entree salads, and creative seafood dishes. Named one of the “10 Best Restaurants in Sedona” by USA Today, it’s sure to be a memorable dining experience. While these are delicious examples, there are many, many more equally delightful options to satisfy any appetite.

Information About Vortex Energy

The term vortex is often used when talking about Sedona, but just what are vortexes, or vortices? Is there any science supporting them, or is this woo woo? While energy sensitive people have long felt and appreciated the powerful vortexes, it’s only been in recent years that science has caught up. The short explanation relies on a bed of quartz crystal beneath the iron oxide rich soil. (It’s the rusting iron that causes the rocks to be red.) Magnetic energy naturally released by the earth passes through the quartz, which generates its own electricity and amplifies the earth’s. As magnetic energy meets iron in the rock, it continues to amplify and spin. Electricity + magnetic energy = electromagnetic energy. Sedona is a huge electromagnet! Inflows and outflows of electromagnetic energy can now be measured, providing proof of the power of the vortexes to nay sayers. There’s further science explaining how the energy of the vortex effects our brains and bodies, which also produce electricity.

The spiraling energy of the vortex leaves visible signs in tree trunks and limbs. Not only do the trunks twist as the tree grows, the branches are also contorted, adding to the mystical appearance of Sedona’s landscape.

Upward spiraling vortexes are considered empowering masculine energy which enhance self-confidence, assertiveness, and personal strength. Feminine energy spirals downward, into the earth, and is associated with intuition and receptivity; promoting compassion, self-care and emotional healing. Where masculine and feminine energies are balanced, the result is harmony, equated with clarity, equilibrium and a sense of centeredness. Being in the presence of, and meditating in such energies, can offer clarity and accelerate the resolution of spiritual lessons.

Mysticism, UFO activity, vortexes, unbelievable beauty, and spirituality are just a few of the words that are often associated with Sedona. This retreat will give you the gift of understanding and appreciation for each aspect of Sedona’s reputation. Not only will you leave with photos worthy of hanging on your walls, new friendships, and stories of UFO sightings to enthrall friends, hopefully you will have a sense of peace or completion in a personal area which Sedona brought to your attention and helped you heal.
